Local Historical Committees Network – DLSU Dasmariñas Cavite Studies Center Webinar No. 8: Commemorating the First Philippine Republic
This is the eighth episode in a special webinar series hosted by the De La Salle University – Dasmariñas Cavite Studies Center and the Local Historical Committees Network of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines.
In this session, Mr. Jomar Gelvoleo Encila, Head of Historical Research for the City of Taguig, will discuss Ang Landas sa Pagtatatag ng Republica Filipina: 1898-1899; De La Salle University-Dasmariñas Prof. Bernard Esternon talks about the Revolutionary Path: Philippines and Latin America, A Parallel Experience; and Dr. Emmanuel F. Calairo, Director of the Cavite Studies Center and Commissioner, National Historical Commission of the Philippines, will discuss Ang Kasaysayang Pampamahalaan ng Pilipinas: Mga Hamon at Katanungan sa Pagdaan ng Panahon.
Joining us as guests are Mr. Alvin R. Alcid, Deputy Executive Director of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines and Dr. Jose Andres Diaz of the Bacoor Historical Society.
The proceedings will be moderated by Dr. Emmanuel F. Calairo, Director of the DLSU-D Cavite Studies Center and Commissioner of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines.
